Kuranda Vet Surgery is located at Kuranda 15mins from Smithfield and 25mins from Mareeba along the Kennedy highway. We are a mixed practice providing all medical, pathology, and diagnostic and surgical services for small, large, birds, hobby farm, wildlife and exotic animals.
The Kuranda clinic is also a purpose built clinic with plenty of car parking, turning space for floats and trucks, wheelchair accessible premises, air-conditioned through out, large kennel, cattery, exotic and isolation wards, stables, yard and portable or standing horse stocks.
If you need to see the vet, appointments are preferred and your patience is appreciated, as we do house calls and attend to surgical and emergency cases.

Anne Thomson5 StarThe vet has excellent knowledge and is extremely caring & thorough, as are the rest of the staff. Our little Toy Poodle was really sick. Kai stayed in the hospital for 2 nights. He was back full of beans when we picked him up. The cost of his stay was really reasonable, given all the tests that were done, drip, medicine, etc. We highly recommend Kuranda Veterinary Surgery to anyone who needs a vet no matter if you are local or travelling. Smiley O5 StarAndrew, Adrian and staff are without Piers, their service was excellent over the past 25 years. I owned more than 25 horses for more than half that time and can assure anyone that Andrew is the most knowledgeable and skilled horse vet and surgeon I have had the privilege to know in 50+ years of Horsemanship. I still say you would/could have made a fabulous plastic surgeon.
